A matrix of shared features across the Metabo product range.
The visual language has been organised to find the ‘most Metabo feature’ (“Green- Main Body”) and the ‘most Metabo product’ (the hot air paint stripper).
Metabo does not have a ‘strict’ visual language. Their engineering and function focus will determine the form over the brand language. For example most products have air vents consisting of three slots, but some products that require more venting have five slots.
The Metabo colour palette is an important part of the Metabo visual language.
Black and Green logo colours are from Metabo (http://www.metabo.com/Logos.16424.0.html).
Red is from a visual sampling of Metabo products, where images and photos were analysed in imaging software (Adobe Photoshop) to determine RGB values. In some cases the resulting colours did not appear ‘right’, especially when rendering in CAD, so so approximate colours were used.
